The original scan shows discoloration over time, as well as minor creasing. I performed minor repairs to the image before hand coloring it.

1. Crop
2. Auto Color
3. Fix crease (healing brush)
4. Even out facial tonality with the burn tool set for highlights
5. Hand color :
   1. Skin tone and lip color set at 44% opacity (took skin color from color picture of Luddie as older man)
   2. Other tones set at 50% opacity
   3. Took lip color and applied to "highlight" areas on face with color burn brush on separate layer, then blurred the application with blur tool and set opacity at 41%.
6. Vignetted portrait with a 10 px feather.
